5 Day Absolute Marketing Challenge

Build your marketing foundation in 5 days—15 minutes per day. Create a full year of marketing: branding, website, social media, blog, and email. One week. One system. Done.

DAY 0: PREP DAY

Get Ready to Build Your Marketing System

Set aside 15-30 minutes each day this week. That's it. You'll create an entire year of marketing in 5 focused sessions.

What You'll Create This Week:

- Day 1: Your brand foundation - Day 2: Website structure - Day 3: Social media content (full year) - Day 4: Blog content (12 posts) - Day 5: Email marketing system

DAY 1: Branding

Today's Checklist:

Register your domain
□ Finalize your messaging
□ Confirm your brand colors & fonts
□ Design or update your logo
□ Create brand guidelines
□ Order business cards (if needed)

Build Your Brand Foundation

Answer these 4 questions (grab a pen—this is a tactile exercise):

  1. WHO are you?

  2. WHY do you do what you do?

  3. WHAT do you do?

  4. WHO is it for?

Write your answers in as few words as possible. Been in business a while? Does what you tell people match what you wrote? If not, why not? What can you simplify? Just starting? Will these answers resonate with your intended audience? Test them.

□ Write all page content
□ Add images/graphics to each page
□ Connect booking system
□ Connect email marketing platform
□ Install legal policies
□ Test all links

Build a Website That Converts

Your website is your home base. Keep it simple, keep it legal, keep it branded.

Navigation Must-Haves:

  • Home | About | Services | Contact

  • Don't be cute with your menu names.

  • Familiarity builds trust.

Keep It Legal: Privacy policy, terms, disclaimer, and accessibility code aren't optional—they protect you from lawsuits.

Less Is More: Skip the busy backgrounds, parallax effects, and cluttered pages. Clean, fast, branded.

Tools You'll Need:

DAY 3: Social Media

Today's Checklist:

□ Choose your 1-2 platforms
□ Write 6 evergreen questions
□ Write 6 sales posts
□ Find relevant holidays for your industry
□ Create daily theme schedule
□ Design graphics for questions
□ Schedule everything in your tool

Create a Full Year of Social Content

You don't need to be on every platform. Pick 1-2 where your ideal clients actually are, then batch a year of content in one day.

The Formula:

6 Questions (evergreen, repeat every 6 weeks) Create as graphics. Example: "What can you outsource in your business?"

6 Sales Posts (one per product/service) Include website links. Let the link preview be your image.

Holidays (fill the gaps) Federal holidays, industry-specific days, fun observances.

Daily Themes (structure your week) Motivational Monday, Tip Tuesday, etc.

Schedule It All Use a scheduler so you're not posting daily — set it and forget it.

Tools You'll Need:

DAY 4: Blogging

Today's Checklist:

□ List 12 common questions
□ Outline each blog post (bullets)
□ Write 2 sentences per bullet
□ Write intro/outro for each
□ Create graphics for each post
□ Schedule posts (one per month)

Write 12 Blog Posts in One Day

"I'm not a writer!" Yes, you are. You answer questions every day. Turn those into blog posts.

Step 1: List questions you get asked constantly (aim for 12+)

Step 2: Create an outline for each question (2-5 bullet points)

Step 3: Write 2 sentences per bullet point

Step 4: Add intro (2-3 sentences: why you're writing this)

Step 5: Add outro (2-3 sentences: where to learn more)

Step 6: Create a graphic for each post Done. You just wrote 12 blog posts.

□ Test template on mobile

Build Your Email Marketing System

Email isn't dead—but it can be dead on arrival if you do it wrong.

  1. Templates Are Everything - Create one branded template. Use it over and over. Consistency = recognition.

  2. Subject Lines Matter - Be catchy, be specific, use emojis to stand out.

  3. ONE Thing Per Email - One call to action. No more. Focus wins.

  4. Brand Everything - Colors, fonts, even link colors should match your brand.

  5. Send Regularly - Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly—pick a cadence and stick to it. Unsubscribes are fine—you only want engaged people anyway.
