Every major corporation has a mission statement. Just because you are a small business (one employee, perhaps), doesn’t mean you don’t need a mission statement. YOU DO. A Mission Statement keeps your vision and goals in alignment and always at the forefront of the employees minds (especially when you are that employee).

In this series I will address several key issues involving marriage and business.  The two can go together, but it must be taken seriously and it must be done right.

When choosing a web designer, you are choosing a partner. Not only is this person supplying you with a much needed service for your business, they are also telling the world who you are and what you do. They will be partnering with you in sharing your message, goods and services with your clientele.

Most business owners do not even give a second thought to a mobile site. Some owners have been told they would have to pay double just to get a mobile site built. There are also a lot of terms that are being loosely thrown around by people trying to make a buck on the latest fad.

Pinterest. Just the word comes with a stigma, “food, weddings, and crafts”. While all of these things are on Pinterest, it’s time to shatter that stereotype; the stereotype that it’s just for women who are looking for a new DIY project.

People fear change, when really we should be embracing it. It is such an exciting time with technological advances, our kids literally have the world at their fingertips. It is now possible for a 15 year old to make money on Instagram, or YouTube. Why talk down to them for exploring their options?
