Networking On Social Media
Networking. It seems the word is so widespread, but do people really utilize it? Networking used to mean, meeting up with potential clients or business partners, in person. I think it has a much greater meaning now. Networking isn’t just limited to your hometown, we can now network multiple places from the comfort of our own home.
If you aren’t using social media to network, you are doing it wrong. There are so many potential opportunities within our reach on the internet. There are hundreds of groups just on Facebook in your niche to help you with your business. Don’t get me wrong, there is power in meeting someone in person, but it is so great, that we aren’t limited by location now. You can meet someone on LinkedIn and schedule a Skype call with them later that day and build a lasting business relationship, all through just sending a simple message.
Networking is a great way to get new fresh ideas with your business. I’ve always loved the quote “Your net worth is determined by your network”. It is true, and now you can gather a group of strong, like-minded individuals to build your network, around the world! So even if you don’t feel like leaving your house, you can have a busy day of networking through your computer or phone!
